Summary

"A SACRED OATH
A FALLEN ANGEL
A FORBIDDEN LOVE

Romance was not part of Nora Grey's plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how hard her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgment.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For she is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life"

Review
Patch.
Just that one word has girls hearts skipping a beat. That's how well Becca developed his character. Enough to make every girl (Or guy) that reads this book fall in love with him the minute that he first opens his mouth.
That can be said for all the characters, really. They have certain quirks or chracteristics that makes them relatable to everyone, no matter what age, shape or size.
Although, occasionally you do find that there are things characters say that don't exactly line up with their personality or age. It's a common mistake that you find in many YA books, sometimes the authors forget that their writing about teenagers. Which can be annoying if you're a teenager reading it & also very easy to notice.

The Setting Was Very Realistic.
I loved how Nora lived in a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. I have a pet peeve when I read paranormal books. I hate in when they live in a crowded neighbourhood, but no one can hear them scream. Or hear some of the conversations that they have outside. It just irks me.
So I guess that's why I loved the setting of this book. Out where no one could hear some of the crazy stuff they talked about, or the yelling that was coming from inside.
It was very realistic.

Although, good things a side, I found it rushed.
I don't know if this is just me, but I like it when the story is developed a little bit before the major plot comes into action. And in this story it dove right into the drama and the love, right from the second page.
But, unlike other stories, it was well developed and well written. So I didn't throw the book aside like I would have, instead I stuck with it.
And I have to say, I'm glad that I did.

Overall.
I loved this book, it had the right mixture of humour and drama. The writing was spectacular. I would've given it five stars if I hadn't had felt that it was rushed.

So go on and get the book!
